Leonardo da Vinci Award

The “Leonardo da Vinci” Award has been created by the Past President Pier Francesco Scarselli in 1975 during the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Club. It is awarded every year to the young students which showed outstanding performances in the topics of the “Universal Genius”.
The award became immediately international thanks to Leonardo da Vinci reputation and the first club to join was the Club of Tour, place where Leonardo was working during the last part of his life and where he died. Just after Tour also Athens and Wien joined the award. These four towns have been a fantastic crib for this cultural award: Athens for the classics, the Florentine and French renassaince and the Mittel-european culture with Wien. Later on also other clubs joined to the founders: Madrid, Bruxelles, Wurzburg, Amsterdam, London and Dublin.

Bachelor Prize dedicated to Giuseppe Mazzetti

The Rotary Club Firenze every year awards a prize in memory of Giuseppe Mazzetti, President of the Club in the years 1956/57. Giuseppe Mazzetti honored the club with his professional activity and with his service above self, typical of the Rotary ethics.

Galletti Award

In memory of the Club Member Massimo Galletti, Past Governor of the 2070 District, the Rotary Club Firenze has created an award with his name.
This award is going to the Rotarian that within the Rotarian Year have reached the higher presence rate in the Club. The Award is given every year during the ceremony of the last meeting of the year by the President of the Club. The members of the board and the members already awarded cannot receive the Award.
